Company & history
Forbo's history begins with the Continentale Linoleum Union, formed in 1928. The Forbo name was adopted in the 1970s. The Swiss group's Flooring Systems division specialises in floor coverings.
Manufacturing
Marmoleum is manufactured in Assendelft in the Netherlands and Kirkcaldy in Scotland. Other flooring facilities include Coevorden in the Netherlands, Reims in France and textile production sites in the UK. Origin varies by product family.
Products
The range includes Marmoleum natural linoleum, Allura LVT, other vinyl floors, Flotex flocked flooring, Tessera carpet tiles and Coral entrance flooring. Eurocol adhesives and preparation products support installation. Match the material and technical classification to the intended application.
Tessera comprises carpet tiles, while Flotex is flocked flooring in sheet and modular formats. Entrance products have a separate purpose.
